🌐 My New Personal Website Is Live

Hey everyone,

After years of building apps, shipping projects, and solving infrastructure puzzles behind the scenes — I finally decided it was time to build something for myself.

Introducing my new personal website: tomaskrcal.cloud

A simple yet expressive home where I showcase what I do, how I do it, and the journey that brought me here.

🧠 What You’ll Find

On the site, you’ll get a peek into:

  • My Story – how I went from self-taught high school coder to solo DevOps lead running multiple K8s clusters
  • Projects I’ve Built – including games like Rotspire, QuizRaid, and Cat Conquest
  • My Tech Stack – what tools and languages I use daily (and why)
  • Infrastructure & Deployment Work – including custom Helm charts, HA setups, security tooling, and more

The “About Me” section goes deep into my background — it’s more than a résumé; it’s the full developer arc. You’ll see how my passion evolved from PHP scripts into scalable microservices, game architecture, and beyond.

🛠️ Built With Tech I Love

For this site, I wanted full creative control — no templates, no bloat. I used:

  • React with Next.js – for fast routing and server-rendered pages
  • GSAP – to add fluid transitions and micro-interactions
  • Three.js + gl-matrix – for subtle 3D visuals and animated scenes
  • (And yes, there’s a cat somewhere… because of course 😺)

📚 What’s Next

This blog — blog.tomaskrcal.cloud — is where I’ll be sharing:

  • Behind-the-scenes posts about building my games and tools
  • Technical deep dives into the stacks I use
  • DevOps tips for solo engineers managing complex infra
  • Creative explorations in 3D, shaders, and animation
  • And a few personal reflections along the way

Eventually, I’ll use this blog’s API to dynamically load posts into my main page — so everything stays connected and fresh.
